Soul Food
Every Tuesday during the School Year in the B there is Soul Food from 11:45 – 12:30!
Soul Food is one of the BCM’s largest outreach ministries. Every week a group of people from local churches cook a delicious meal and some amazing deserts. Students pay $1 to help support Summer Missions and get an amazing meal. Soul Food is also a great time to get to know new people and witness to them.

“The Soul Food ministry is one of the BCM ministries that has impacted me the most! It has taught me that serving other can bring such joy to those I serve, to God and to myself. Soul Food helped me to come out of my shell by meeting new people every week and just connecting with them over a plate of food. Soul Food also showed me that taking part in ministry doesn’t always mean getting up and speaking or leading a bible study, it can be as simple as putting up tables and chairs and cleaning up afterwards. Soul Food has given me a heart for service ministry and has helped me grow in my relationship with the Lord. It’s a part of the BCM that will always be in my heart.”

“Soul Food is great because you are able to get really good food that has been prepared by some good people for just a dollar. It is also a great opportunity to talk to with different kinds of people and to share the gospel with them.”

“I have had a great experience with Soul Food. Soul Food is a great place to make new friends and witness to them. The food is amazing and the church members that serve it always have a smile on their face. Each week soulfood reaches about 200 students, most of whom do not come to the BCM on a regular basis.”

“Soul Food has been an amazing thing where I have met so many amazing people. It’s a great time of fellowship and a way to really start to get to know people on a different level. The neighboring churches in the area really take care of us by cooking an amazing homemade meal every week. The food is so good AND it’s only $1. An amazing deal!!!”
