Journey is our freshman Bible study that takes place during the Fall and Winter Quarters every Monday night at 7:00pm. Designed specifically for first-year students, Journey creates a space where freshmen can build friendships, grow in their faith, and find community during their transition into college life at Louisiana Tech.

Each Journey group is led by a pair of upperclassmen who are passionate about investing in younger students and helping them navigate both college and their walk with Christ. Through weekly Bible studies, discussions, and intentional community, freshmen are encouraged to ask questions, grow spiritually, and connect with other students who are experiencing many of the same challenges and opportunities that come with starting college.

Journey is more than just a Bible study — it is a place where freshmen can find encouragement, mentorship, and a sense of belonging early in their college experience. Whether you are new to church, new to Ruston, or simply looking for meaningful community, Journey is a great way to get connected at the BCM.

Soul Food is our weekly $1 lunch held every Tuesday from 11:15am–1:00pm at the BCM. Each week, students have the opportunity to enjoy a home-cooked meal, spend time with friends, and connect with the BCM community in a welcoming and relaxed environment between classes.

The meals are generously provided by a rotating group of churches from across North Louisiana who partner with the BCM to support and encourage Louisiana Tech students. From classic comfort food to local favorites, every week brings something different to the table while creating a space for fellowship, conversation, and community.

Whether you are looking for an affordable lunch, a place to meet new people, or simply a break in the middle of a busy week, Soul Food is a great opportunity to get connected and experience the community of the BCM.

Elevate is our weekly Tuesday night worship service that takes place every week at 7:00pm at the BCM. It is a time for students to gather together in worship, grow in their faith, and build community in the middle of the week. Whether you have been involved in church your whole life or are simply looking for a place to belong, Elevate is designed to be a welcoming environment for every student on campus.

Each week features student-led worship led by a team of talented students who are passionate about leading others in authentic worship. Through music, prayer, and community, students are encouraged to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while worshipping alongside friends and fellow students.

Following worship, the message is brought by BCM Director Kevin Inman, who teaches directly from Scripture with practical and encouraging messages that challenge students to live out their faith both on campus and beyond. Elevate is more than just a weekly service — it is a place where students can find community no matter what local church they are connected with or if they are still looking for a church home, meet student leaders who love the Lord, and find opportunities to grow, serve and connect!
